Open Console Window to Current File Explorer Path - Windows 10 Tips

Do you know, you can open Command Prompt, PowerShell or Windows Subsystem Linux console to current File Explorer path directly from File Explorer. To do that

  1. Open some folder in File Explorer
  2. Set focus to the address bar (alt + d)
  3. Type the name of your favorite console
    • cmd for Command Prompt
    • pwsh or powershell for PowerShell
    • wsl for Windows Subsystem Linux
  4. Now press enter

Now you have a cocnsole window open to that path.
